Matthew Freeguard

Head of Strategy and Transformation

Having worked globally within the Capital Markets, Asset Management, Payments and Investment sectors, Matt leads the Strategy and Transformation practice at Novatus Global.

Matt is an experienced strategy consultant having worked extensively across the US, Europe and South Africa within the Capital Markets, Asset Management, Payments and Investments sectors. Matt has also held senior leadership roles within the industry, both in start-up and scale-up stage Fintech firms.

Matt is a data-driven leader and operator who drives impact on core company metrics across Strategy, Product and Operations, specialising in taking concepts and building products, taking them from 0-1 and beyond. He is a specialist in corporate and business strategy, operating restructuring, product management, cost optimisation and large-scale cross-functional transformation and change programmes.
